As this the artist of these 3 pieces, what was your main objective?
My main objective for these three pieces was to successfully meet the purpose of each of the projects.
What tools did we primarily use for this project?
I used the pen tool, the polygonal lasso tool, the fill tool, and the copy and paste tools.
What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?
It was hard for me to pick my pictures and then get all my selections perfect.
One of the requirements for the Double Exposure and the Duo-Tone project was to remove the backgrounds of your images. I what tools or techniques did you use to remove it?Were there some tools or techniques that worked better for you than others?
I used the pen tool and the lasso tools to perfect my selection and then I right clicked and made the selection and then back spaced to delete that selected section out of my picture. I thought it was easier to use the pen tool because it made it easier to get the curves perfect.
What are the advantages of using a Layer Mask to create the effect?
The advantage was that you can paint one picture onto another picture to create the double exposure effect.
For the Duo-Tone, you had to experiment with mixing Channels and Background colors. Did you try something different with you background like a Gradient?
I created a gradient and I made it to make people looking at the picture draw their eyes to one place.
