Vector Project

1.As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?

My main objective was to make my celebrity look as realistic as possible. I tried to use a lot of different shapes and colors to get as much contour in her face her chest and her arms. Another objective was to make her hair look straight in the places where it was straight and curved in the places where her hair is curved.

2.What tools did you primarily use for this project?

I used mostly the pen tool and the brush tool.

3.What are the advantages of using the Pen Tool and creating Paths?

If you are in the middle of making a selection you can save it when you are using the pen tool creating paths.

4.How were you able to fulfill the requirements of the Rubric?

There was a lot of colors to use when I was contouring her face and her chest so I was able to meet the requirements of four colors or values in one section. Also her hair was a lot of different values of blonde and brown.

5.What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Some of the challenges was all of the detail in her hair and in her eyes. Her hair was also difficult because some parts of her hair are pin straight and others are curved because of the way it falls on her shoulder. Also some challenges were getting the shapes to be perfectly rounded and no corners.

6.Do you feel you successfully completed the project? Why or why not?

I do feel successful completing this project because I met all the requirements and was able to get a lot of detail in the main parts of her face, eyes, and hair.
